REPORT: The French Open Inaugural Edition
This tournament took place on Friday, April 1st, 2022.
This exclusive event was organized by the SDFACC Boards Members and Staff, who planned a fun and safe day of golf for all.
Last Friday, on April 1st, we held our first ever French Open Golf Tournament. It was a great success and we wanted to share the events that transpired:
At 11:30am the golfers got ready with the San Diego French American Chamber of Commerce team at St Mark Golf Club to prepare the venue and work out logistics for the tournament
By 12:00pm the tournament has begun! Golfers compete with each other to see who can take home the Best Shot Award.
At 2:00pm the non-golfers enjoyed an Introduction to Golf session, where they learnt the basic golf shots: Driving and Putting
By 4:00pm the drinks have started flowing, Golfers united to celebrate the victories they acquired and the losses they experienced over wine, cheese and croissants.
