EAEC is a private non-governmental organization that aims at encouraging European and American business exchanges on the global as well as local levels. SACC San Diego was founded in 1989 as one of the first local Swedish chambers in America. The Maritime Alliance

The mission of The Maritime Alliance is “Promoting Blue Tech & Blue Jobs”. The
non-profit The Maritime Alliance is the cluster organizer for the San Diego maritime technology community and fosters maritime business and technology innovation through collaboration around the U.S and the world.

The Maritime Alliance was launched in January 2007 to organize the local maritime technology industry, one of the largest clusters in the world, with companies ranging from providing communications to sensors to robotics.  Over the last 3 years we have put on events to get to know and promote the industry.

U.S. Small Business Administration

The SDFACC and the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) district office in San Diego signed a strategic alliance pledging to work together to improve business access to technological information through educational opportunities and SBA resources while also providing maximum financial opportunities and training to entrepreneurs. The agreement was signed by SBA District Director Ruben Garcia and SDFACC President Jean-Luc Lembert.

“I am extremely pleased with the work that is being accomplished by the SDFACC and their excellent new leadership through Mr. Lembert,” said Garcia. “Jean-Luc has a rich history of assisting entrepreneurs take their place as business owners and I know that he’ll take advantage of our SBA programs to help potential owners fulfill their dreams of small business ownership.”

The collaboration between the SBA and the SDFACC is building a strong foundation for the future. Small business is the golden thread that ties the American dream into reality for many entrepreneurs.

Noted Lembert, “Having the SBA as a strategic alliance partner extends the existing partnership between the SDFACC and the SBA. The agreement allows the SDFACC to enhance the services we provide, such as one-on-one counseling, education, roundtables, networking events and information resources to entrepreneurs throughout the region.”
