Organization: Established in 1996, the San Diego French-American Chamber of Commerce (SDFACC) is a member-driven, non-profit organization. It's mission are to promote the French and American local business community, support French and American companies with their trade needs, support French entrepreneurs in starting a business in San Diego and American entrepreneurs in starting a business in France.

Description:
The interns will:
- Promote the chamber and its activities to local Cleantech cies during local events.
- Attend SDFACC's events and interact with members and potential members.
- Promote SDFACC’s activities during Socal Cleantech events.
- Promote SDFACC’s trade missions of local companies sent to France.

Requirements for Intern applicants:
- Have a strong knowledge and interest in marketing, social networks and research on internet.
- Be comfortable with Microsoft Office software.
- Be highly motivated, take initiative, organized, professional and with good communication skills.
- French language is a plus.

VCI - International Business and Marketing Interns

Occupational Category: International business & marketing internship in a Business Development and Capital Advisory Firm.

Title: Marketing Coordinator

Hours: Full time or part time. Minimum 20 hours a week.

Compensation: None except sales commissions when applicable.

Organization: VCI is a comprehensive specialized resource provider to local and International companies. The goal of VCI is to provide capital resources, deal flow and the business infrastructures necessary to help emerging companies grow and become successful. Our focus is on strategic priorities such as product development, launch and generation of revenue streams. VCI’s team analyzes the acquired information about the specific target market and its competitors in order to develop a plan of execution for these emerging companies.

Description:
The interns will:
- Provide support to staff in business development projects by assisting in market research and database development
- Attend business meetings and interact with potential prospects and clients so that they may develop their communication and negotiation skills.
- Assist in building and maintaining business contacts/relationships with companies interested in VCI’s services.

Requirements for Intern Candidates:
- Have knowledge and interest in marketing strategies, professional networking, international management, business development and technology.
- Be comfortable with Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent Internet researching skills
- Be fluent in English. French and Spanish language is a definite plus.
- Be highly motivated, take initiative, complete required task in a timely manner and have excellent communication skills.
