We are very excited to welcome Isabelle Oehmichen, a world-renowned French pianist, who will be in San Diego in July as a judge in an international piano competition. Isabelle Oehmichen will perform a private piano concert  for the members of the French-American Chamber of Commerce and classical music fans in our community.

This concert will be held in a beautiful private home in Scripps Ranch followed by an elegant reception  in which you will meet the artist and enjoy networking opportunities.

More about Isabelle Oehmichen

IsabelleIsabelle Oehmichen is a renowned French concert pianist from Paris who draws upon her French heritage and unusual musical training in her delicately nuanced and technically exquisite performance as a soloist and ensemble musician throughout France, Great Britain, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany and Hungary.

As a young musician, Isabelle won First Place in the Milosz Magin International Piano Competition in 1989 and the George Cziffra Competition in 1993.  She studied with Milosz Magin, the Polish-French composer-pianist (1929-1999) for 8 years and he wrote the Third Sonata for Isabelle who has recorded several Magin works.  She also studied with George Cziffra, a Hungarian virtuoso pianist (1921-1994) who was renowned for his dazzling performances of Liszt.

In addition to concerts throughout Europe, Isabelle has performed in radio and television recitals.
